Why we built it
Understand the topic first. Then answer like it's exam day.
Every topic gets a lesson that explains it with drawings and plain words, then questions in the format the learner's exam uses, each with a rationale. A lesson and its questions make a round. Rounds sit on wards, a shift streak counts the days, and a wrong answer never locks anyone out. Medibara starts with three nursing licensing exams: NCLEX-RN, NCLEX-PN and REx-PN.
Where it started
It started with one exam, at home.
The founder's girlfriend was preparing for a nursing licensing exam, and good material to study from turned out to be very hard to find. The nursing groups online showed the same thing: people always asking each other for resources. Medibara is the prep we went looking for.
What it does
- 01
Lessons that condense what matters
Each lesson takes one topic, such as potassium and the ECG, and explains the mechanism, the nursing action and the signs to watch for.
- 02
Questions in your exam's format
The item types your exam uses, laid out to work on a phone. Every answer comes with a rationale.
- 03
Ask Cappy
Cappy, a capybara in a nurse cap, is the tutor. It answers from the lesson you are on and shows where the answer comes from.
- 04
Mock exams
A timed mock under exam rules. Answers lock when you move on, and rationales wait until the end.
- 05
See your weak areas
Medibara tracks how you do in each area of your exam's test plan, and builds your next practice around the weakest.
